Scope & delivery

Alderbench Digital provides custom business websites and simple inquiry workflows. We work remotely from Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Deliverables are digital; there are no physical goods or shipping charges.

Before you accept a project, you receive a written quote stating the work, fixed price in US dollars (USD), applicable taxes, payment timing, required materials, deadline, included revisions, and handoff method. An inquiry does not place an order.

Website and inquiry-workflow projects each include one in-scope revision or correction round unless your quote includes more. Domain registration, hosting, software subscriptions, ongoing maintenance, and additional work are separate and require your agreement. We do not enroll you in an automatic subscription.

The delivery schedule starts on the date agreed after the required materials and access are available. Changes or delays are discussed with you; extra work is not charged without agreement. Delivery is by email, a sharing link, or an agreed account handoff.

Cancellations & refunds

Email alderbenchdigital@gmail.com with your project reference and what you would like resolved.

  • Before work starts: cancel for a full refund of any project payment.
  • After work starts: you may cancel the remaining work. We refund the amount allocated to work not performed, using the milestones and amounts agreed in your quote. Completed work is charged only at those agreed amounts.
  • If work does not match the agreed scope: tell us what is wrong. We will arrange a correction without an additional charge. If we cannot deliver the agreed work, we refund the affected undelivered or nonconforming portion.
  • Approved refunds: we initiate the refund to the original payment method within five business days. Your payment provider’s processing time is additional.

Third-party purchases made directly by you, such as a domain or hosting plan, are governed by that provider’s refund policy. Digital work has no physical return process. Contact us about any concern, including a payment dispute; these policies do not limit rights you have under applicable law.

Project terms

You must have permission to use the copy, images, and data you provide. Please use redacted examples during scoping. Do not send passwords, card details, government identifiers, health records, or other sensitive personal records.

Work begins only after scope, price, timing, and payment arrangements are agreed in writing. Online payments are not currently enabled. Never send payment card details by email.

We use software and AI assistance where suitable, with review before delivery. AI assistance does not replace checking the agreed facts and function. We do not promise sales, leads, search rankings, or a particular financial result.

Once the agreed fee is paid, you receive the agreed custom deliverables and access. Third-party software, fonts, images, and platforms remain subject to their own licenses and terms. Your quote identifies the handoff and any ongoing responsibilities. Client accounts remain under your control.

We do not provide legal, accounting, medical, or other regulated professional advice. Changes to these general policies apply to future projects; accepted work follows the terms agreed for that project and applicable law.

Privacy

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any details or files you choose to send. We use them to respond, assess the project, provide agreed work, and maintain necessary business records. We do not sell your personal information.

We keep information as needed to handle inquiries and projects, meet recordkeeping obligations, or resolve disputes. You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing alderbenchdigital@gmail.com. Some records may need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes.
